Minor Piercing Information and Requirements

Atomic Tattoo & Body Piercing, the safety and comfort of our clients are our top priority. Please review the following requirements before booking a minor piercing appointment.

Age Requirements

Minors must be 8 years or older to receive a piercing or service.

Required for All Minors Under 18

• Minor must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
• Original documents only — photos of documents are NOT accepted
• Minor must verbally consent to the piercing they are receiving
• Piercer may refuse service at any time at their discretion
• Jewelry is sold separately for each piercing

Acceptable Identification & Proof of Age

Only acceptable forms of identification are:

• Government-issued ID OR school ID
• Parent’s valid government-issued ID
• Minor’s birth certificate

The parent/guardian’s ID must match the name listed on the birth certificate.

Important Notes

• All documents must be original
• IDs must be valid and unexpired
• Failure to provide required documents will result in denial of service
• All piercing services for minors are at the piercer’s discretion
